Banking Supervision Directorates

Banking Supervision Directorates are responsible for the individual and permanent supervision, off-site and on-site, of institutions in the banking sector. They supervise all types of institutions of this sector.

 

The divisions act as an expertise pole on prudential and regulatory issues regarding the banking sector. As such, they contribute to the development of the position of the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution on issues related to prudential regulation, its evolution and implementation.

Banking Supervision Directorate 1

The first Bank Supervision Directorate (DCB1) includes divisions 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Bank Supervision Directorate 2

The second Banking Supervision Directorate (DCB2) includes divisions 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Delegation Charged with the On-site Inspection of Credit Institutions & Investment Firms

The Delegation Charged with the On-site Inspection of Credit Institutions & Investment Firms includes the On-site Inspections teams and Risk Modelling Control Unit ().

The Delegation Charged with the On-site Inspection of Credit Institutions & Investment Firms, functionally attached to the General Secretary of the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution, is responsible for on-site inspections of all institutions operating in the banking sector.

 

The On-site inspections Teams and Risk Modelling Control Unit includes, in addition to the staff assigned to inspection teams, a risk modelling control unit and a unit for assessing information systems risks.

 

The delegation also has an IT support unit and organises training for its supervisors appointed in close cooperation with the Human Resources And Support Functions Directorate.
