Resolution Directorate

The Resolution Directorate is responsible for organising, preparing the Resolution College’s sessions and implementing its decisions. It prepares and elaborates preventive resolution plans for credit institutions and financing companies concerned. It carries out the monitoring of institutions and companies subject by the Resolution College to the resolution procedure and, by decision of the General Secretary, other institutions and companies that have similar conditions. It ensures the representations of the SGACPR before national, European or international authorities dealing with issues on banking resolution.

 

It is composed of 3 divisions:

Cooperative Banks and International Affairs Division

The Cooperative Banks and International Affairs Division is responsible for creating, updating or potentially implementing resolution plans for principal cooperative credit institutions and international regulatory negotiations and evolutions in the banking resolution field.

Commercial Banks and European Affairs Division

The Commercial Banks and European Affairs Division is responsible for creating, updating and potentially implementing resolution plans for principal business credit institutions and international regulatory negotiations and evolutions in the banking resolution field.

Public Banks and Financing Mechanisms for Resolution and Guarantee Schemes Division

Public Banks and Financing Mechanisms for Resolution and Guarantee Schemes Division is responsible for creating, updating and potentially implementing resolution plans for principal public credit institutions and regulatory or functional evolutions and calculations of contributions to resolution funds or guarantee funds (deposits, securities, sureties).
