The Financial Stability Board (FSB) has analyzed the potential influences of Fintech on the financial stability with the objective of identifying the regulatory and supervisory challenges that call to the authority’s attention.

This report has been presented by FSB at G20 Summit in Hambourg on 7th and 8th of July, 2017. Ten challenges have been identified, among those three have being marked as high-priority:

• Operational risks due to the use of technology providers by the financial institutions.
• Cyber-risks prevention.
• The surveillance of macro-financial risks that may appear if Fintech activities were to play a more important role.
