For the second year, the ACPR held a stand at the Paris Fintech Forum on January 30th and 31st alongside the Banque de France's Digital Transformation Division (DIGIT). This show, which brings together over two days at the Palais Brongniart, a large number of financial players around innovation and digital technology, has allowed the ACPR’s Fintech-Innovation Unit to exchange with start-ups and technology companies to answer their regulatory questions. While 2018 is a key year for financial players with the entry into force of the second payment services directive (PSD2) and the new European regulation on the protection of personal data (GDPR), Edouard Fernandez-Bollo and Nathalie Beaudemoulin also discussed the role of the financial supervisor in assisting the digital transformation of the financial sector while ensuring sound risk management.
