The ACPR and the AMF publish the conclusions of the Working group on the certification of smart contracts and open a public consultation
The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) and the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) are opening a consultation on the conclusions of the Working group on the certification of smart contracts in decentralised finance (DeFi). The working group, made up of representatives of the crypto-asset industry, technical experts and the relevant authorities, conducted its deliberations throughout 2024: the report published today and submitted for consultation outlines these thoughts.
Stakeholders in the financial and crypto-asset sectors, as well as any other interested parties (researchers, providers, supervisory authorities, etc.), are invited to comment on the report by 10 March 2025.
Responses are expected in the form of a reply to the questionnaire accompanying this report and should be sent jointly to fintech-innovation@acpr.banque-france.fr and innovation@amf-france.org.
The conclusions drawn from this consultation will be presented during 2025.
