The ACPR pays particular attention to the protection of personal data and applies a privacy policy (in French) on personal data protection

The ACPR manages its website with the primary purpose of fulfilling its public interest missions, which also stem from the legal obligation to which it is subject pursuant to Article L. 612-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code. These missions focus primarily on supervising regulated entities and granting them authorisation to operate, as well as on exercising disciplinary powers over entities under the Authority’s remit, but they also include implementing the AERAS Convention and maintaining and circulating the list of supervised entities. In the course of its duties, the ACPR complies with applicable legal and regulatory provisions: French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, on data processing, computer files and individual liberties, as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016).

Data collected on this website are processed exclusively by the ACPR for administrative purposes. This includes personal data collected (name, surname, professional contact details, job title(s), financial data). Such data are only retained as long as necessary for the ACPR to fulfil its statutory functions, the retention period being aligned with the mission concerned (primarily authorising or supervising entities subject to its oversight). Access to your data is strictly restricted to ACPR staff. Data may be transferred in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of the Privacy Policy.

You can exercise your rights as a data subject by contacting the ACPR, including the right to access, amend or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data and the right to data portability.

You have the right to submit a complaint to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL, the French Data Protection Authority).
