The International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) has published a report on the potential impacts the InsurTechs’ rise has on the insurance sector. This report, to which the Fintech-Innovation Unit of the ACPR has contributed, ponders different scenarios of evolution for the sector and the consequences it has on the established actors as well as the consumers. It also includes the challenges and the opportunities which the supervisors must face in this new fast-paced insurance landscape.
